Services for Mrs. Irene McKnight Wells, 90, of Jackson were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Nowell Funeral Home Chapel in Ackerman with burial in Enon Cemetery.
Mrs. Wells a native of Choctaw County and former resident of Ackerman for over 70 years, died Jan. 14, 1998 at Pleasant Hill Nursing Home where she had been a resident for seven years. She also lived in Starkville for 14 years. She was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She leaves a son, Bobby Wells of Starkville; a daughter, Martha Sebren of Jackson; a sister, Maurine Sullivan of Jackson; 1 1 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
