Chester Forrest "Chet" is the youngest child and second son of John Wesley Houser and Ollie Lee [Hudgens] Houser. He was born with a disablity. He never went to school. He was raised with lots of love and attention from his father and siblings. One of his sisters stayed home and cared for him after their mother died. Chet was loving, funny and generous and the whole family doted on him. The doctors said he wouldn't live past the age of 8. He lived to be 60 years old.

Chet collected miniature ceramic dogs, ceramic tea pots and he loved comic books.

Chet is buried beside his father, John Wesley and sisters Martha Ellen, Laura Lee and Imogene.
