Sara A. Crawford, 91, of Gassville, died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006, at Hospice House.

She was born Dec. 14, 1914, at Mountain Home to Walter R. and Ollie L. Trivitt Roberts. A lifetime area native, she married Wilbern Crawford July 24, 1935, at Clarkridge. Mrs. Crawford was a member of Wade and Cross Church of Christ and a homemaker and enjoyed her grandchildren, quilting and cooking for family and friends.

She is survived by five sons, Gene (Arlene), William (Nora), Willis (Betty Ann), Ray (Connie), and Ed (Edna) Crawford; two daughters, Betty (Doc) Goldena and Bertie Varner; two brothers, Charlie and John Roberts; one sister, Nellie Davis; 40 grandchildren; 92 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; the Bob Dilbeck family; and special caregiver, Vera Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two daughters, Gertie Dewey and Dovie Acklin; one son-in-law, Chester Varner; seven brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be from noon-9 p.m. today at Roller Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m.

A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Roller Chapel with Bro. Brent Hickey officiating. Pallbearers will be her grandsons with honorary pallbearers, Les Snorgrass, Calvin Ray Parton, Roy Parton, Darrell Pace, Bob and Doug Dilbeck, J.D. Deathrage and J.B. Dewey.

Interment will be at Howard's Ridge Cemetery at Howard's Ridge, Mo.
