Mrs. Emily Atwood, Native Of Roscoe, Called By Death
Mrs. Emily Atwood, a lifelong resident of Roscoe and Beloit vicinity, died at noon today at her home, 961 Tenth street, from heart trouble with which she had been suffering for several months. She was born in Roscoe on April 1, 1839, and for some time had been the oldest living woman born there. Surviving are two sons, Josiah and Charles, both of Beloit and vicinity. She was a member of the Congregational church at Roscoe. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
