Roscoe Resident Dies At Age Of 62
Roscoe. - (Special.) - Charles Atwood, 62 years old, a resident of this vicinity for 40 years, died at the Methodist hospital at Madison at 4 o'clock Tuesday morning following an illness of four weeks' duration.
Mr. Atwood was born in DeKalb, Ill., March 2, 1867, and came to Roscoe 40 years ago. He was married Nov. 11, 1897, to Miss Sophia Brandt of Roscoe. He was a member of the Congregational church for 35 years.
Survivors include the wife and a brother, Joseph Atwood, Beloit. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
