She was born Dec. 6, 1954, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Charles and Eunice Baumbach Rigg. She married H. Wayne Babcock on June 20, 1989, in Las Vegas.
She was a member of Lord and Savior Church, Ridgefield. She was a graduate of Alden-Hebron High school in 1972. For more than six years she worked at Crystal Lake Deli and then worked as a cake decorator for Sam's Club in Crystal Lake for three years. She loved being a grandmother. She also loved horses and her horse "Little Joe" was one of the joys of her life.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne; a son, Shawn (Andrea) Goodrich, Troutman, N.C.; two granddaughters; her mother, Eunice Rigg, Crystal Lake; a sister, Sharry (Harland) Miller, Westminster, Calif.; a brother, Barry (Janet) Rigg, Wisconsin Dells; three nieces; and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles F. Rigg, in 1992.
Visitation was Friday evening at Querhammer and Flagg Funeral Home, Crystal Lake. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 19, at Lord and Savior Lutheran Church, 9300 Ridgefield Road, with the Rev. David Carlovsky officiating.
Inurnment was in Crystal Lake Union Cemetery, Ridgefield.
