Eunice Rigg, age 95 of Buena Park, CA, formerly of Crystal Lake and Hebron, IL, passed away Friday March 30, 3018 in Buena Park, CA.
She was born in Sparta, WI on March 11, 1923, a daughter of the late Oscar and Myrtle (Nicholes) Baumbach.
She was a graduate of Sparta High School in 1941.
Eunice was married to Charles F. Rigg on May 2, 1942 in Sparta and he passed away July 9, 1992.
She owned and operated Eunice's Eggery in Hebron and Crystal Lake, for 45 years, retiring in 2012.
She was a member of Lord and Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church in Crystal Lake, IL, was a choir member for over 30 years, involved with the counseling and pregnancy center from 1994-2012, Sunday School and Bible School Teacher for many years. Her hobbies include sewing, cooking, fishing, travel, camping, plaster crafting, shopping and time with her grandkids.
She is survived by her daughter Sharon (Sharry) Miller of Buena Park, CA, daughter-in-law Janet (Barry) Rigg, brother-in-law Dr. Richard (Pam) Rigg of Castro Valley, CA and sister-in-law Donna (Sonny) Jenkins, Wyle, TX, seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by a daughter Debra (Wayne) Babcock and a son Barry Rigg,
Memorial visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. Friday June 15, 2018 until the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at Lord and Savior Ev. Lutheran Church, 9300 Ridgefield Rd in Crystal Lake, IL,
