PERCY COLLEY RITES FRIDAY

Services for Percy J. Colley, 77, will be held 10 a.m. Friday from St. Matthews Church. Reverend Father Jerome Szydlowski will officiate and interment will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery. The rosary will be recited Thursday at 8 p.m. at the Stackus Funeral Home, in Boyne City, where friends may call.

Mr. Colley died yesterday evening at the Grandvue Medical Care Facility, in East Jordan.

He was born August 1, 1896 in Bracebridge, Ontario, Canada and came to Boyne City as a young man. He was a leather tanner and night watchman for the Boyne City Howe Brothers Tannery.

On August 6, 1966 he married Jane Turan Miiller, in Boyne City.

He was a member of the St. Matthews Church.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Guy Colley, of Flint and James Colley of Boyne City; one step-son, Francis St. Arno, of Union Lake; two stepdaughters, Mrs. John (Geraldine) Beyers, of Mt. Morris and Mrs. Orville (Margaret) Clute, of Boyne City; one brother, Lyle Colley of Boyne City; five sisters, Mrs. Chris (Ann) Andrews, of Boyne City, Mrs. Don (Mary) Sanborn, of Cedar Lake, Mrs. Cliff (Violet) Reberg, of Flint, Mrs. Tom (Fern) Binder, of Plymouth and Mrs. Martin (Rhoda) Lindenborn of Alpena; several
grandchildren and great grandchildren.
