MRS. WALTER RANSOM
THREE-WEEK ILLNESS FATAL TO CITY WOMAN
Mrs. Maycle Irene Ransom, wife of Walter R. Ransom of 617 S. First Street, died Thursday night at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital, after a three-week illness. She was born November 9, 1894, at French River, Ontario, a daughter of Harry C. and Elizabeth Jane Irish Colley. She was married to Mr. Ransom on August 24, 1918. He survives. She had lived in Ann Arbor since 1916.
She was a member of the First Methodist Church, the Phoebe Beal Circle of the King's Daughters of the Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, No. 122.
Surviving besides her husband is a son, John W., and a grandson, both of Ann Arbor; five sisters, Mrs. Don Sanborn of St. Petersburg, Florida, Mrs. Anna Andrews of Boyne City, Mrs. Thomas Binder of Detroit, Mrs. Martin Lindenborn of Alpena, and Mrs. Clifford Reberg of Flint; and five brothers, Edward of Flint, Alfred, Percy and Lyle, all of Boyne City, Clifford of Petoskey.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Muehlig Chapel with the Reverend Erland J. Wangdahl officiating.
Burial will be in Washtenong Memorial Park. Friends may call at the chapel.
