MRS. H. COLLEY CALLED BY DEATH

Elizabeth Jane Irish was born 1869 [sic. 1870] in Simcoe County, Ontario, Canada. She was united in marriage, June 13, 1886 [sic. 1888] to Harry Colley.

She came to Boyne City in 1902, and for the past 28 years has lived in the present home of the family. She was the mother of 15 children, 6 boys and 7 girls living. She had her great love in her home and her family. Her last illness during the past two weeks ended at Petoskey Hospital, Sunday morning at 6:20.

Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian Church, Tuesday, 4 p.m. Rev. G.E. Smock, officiating.

MRS. ELIZABETH COLLEY DIES SUNDAY MORNING
FOLLOWING LONG ILLNESS

Mrs. Elizabeth Jane Colley, of 601 Leroy Street, Boyne City, died Sunday in Petoskey where she had been undergoing treatment for some time. She had been seriously ill for three weeks. Mrs. Colley, who was 63 years of age, had resided in Boyne City 32 years, coming to Michigan from Ontario.

The body will be taken to Boyne City where friends may call at the family home. The funeral will be held from the Boyne City Presbyterian Church tomorrow afternoon at 4, with Reverend Guy E. Smock pastor, in charge. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Colley was born at Coldwater, Ontario, August 23, 1870. She was married to Harry Colley on June 13, 1888.

Surviving her are six sons and seven daughters, and three sisters.
