Robert Sevier Duncan age 84 of Cookeville TN went peacefully home to the Lord on July 3 2013. He was a member of The First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mr. Duncan was the founder of Duncan Transfer & Storage in Cookeville, and spent his entire business career in the warehousing and transportation business. He also was an active representative of The Republican Party. Mr. Duncan was born and raised in Huntsville, Tennessee, and was the youngest of ten children.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Marilyn Marie Duncan, parents Flem & Cassie Lee Duncan, three sisters and three brothers.

Survivors include four sons. Robert and Margaret Duncan of Knoxville TN. David and Didge Duncan of Trenton Ohio, Freddy & Jaymie Duncan of Cookeville TN, and Stephen Duncan of Cookeville TN. Brother Joe Duncan, Sisters Elizabeth Keck and Martha Ann Kist. There are 10 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grand Children.

The Family will receive friends at West Murley FH Chapel in Huntsville TN 37756 on Friday July 5th from 6:00 –8:00 PM. Graveside services will be at The Duncan Family Cemetery in Huntsville on Saturday July 6th at 1:00 PM. The family would like to extend many thanks for the wonderful care given at Kindred / Masters Health Care Center in Algood TN.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes for donations to be made to The Duncan Family Cemetery Fund c/o Joe Duncan 245 Geneva Ln. Knoxville TN 37923
