FLUSHING, Mich. - Ann Grace Haywood, 90, of Flushing, formerly of Taylorville, Flint, Mich., Ypsilanti, Mich., and Fort Myers, Fla., died Saturday, June 11, 2005, at Riverside Assisted Living Center in Flushing.

She was born June 11, 1915, in Taylorville, the daughter of Jason Kirk and Eva Cook Busby. She married William T. Haywood in 1934 in Peoria; he died in 1980.

Mrs. Haywood graduated from Taylorville High School and worked at J.C. Penney Department Store, Federal Department Store and American Red Cross. She was a former member of First Baptist Church in Taylorville.

Survivors: three sons, Gary (wife, Pauline) Haywood of Ypsilanti, Mich., Ron (wife, Mary) Haywood of Flushing and Don (wife, Kathy) Haywood of Chelsea, Mich.; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, David (wife, Nancy) Busby of Girard; and several nieces and nephews.

Private graveside services: Monday, Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville.

McClure Funeral Home in Taylorville is in charge of arrangements.
