Jason K. Busby, Retired Postman Dies This Morning
Jason K. Busby, 74, a retired mail carrier residing at 810 East Oak Street, died at 9:45 this morning at St. Vincent Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient several days. He had been in ill health the last several years.
Mr. Busby was born at Morrisonville on August 13, 1887, the son of Francis M. Busby and Laura Ann Oller Busby. He married Eva Cook on July 3, 1911 in Shawneetown.
Surviving are his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Minnie Dix and Mrs. Anne Haywood, both living in Michigan; two sons, Madison K. Busby, Danville and Charles David Busby, this city, seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at the Schafer Funeral Home.
