M. K. Busby, 50, Former Resident Dies at Danville
Madison Kirk Busby, 50, of Danville, a former resident of this city, son of Mrs. Eva Busby, and brother of David Busby, both of this city, died Tuesday night in Veterans Hospital in Danville where he had been a patient since December 15. He had been in ill health several years.
Born on July 20, 1917 at Taylorville, he was the son of Jason K. and Eva Busby. Several years ago he was married to Miss Doris Hunt. He was a veteran of World War II, a member of the American Legion and of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints at Danville. Prior to moving to Danville 20 years ago from Alton, Mr. Busby resided at Taylorville.
In addition to his mother and brother here, he is survived by his widow, Doris of Danville; and two sisters, Mrs. Walter (Minnie) Dix, Livonia, Michigan and Mrs. William (Anne) Haywood, Ypsilanti, Michigan.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
