NEW PALTZ: Mrs. M.K. (Kim) Barrett, 64, of 245 East 24th Street, New York City and 46 Center Street, New Paltz; died July 25th at the Benedictine Hospital after a long illness.
Born December 20th, 1911, in Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of Frances Smith Kilmer and the late Walter Kilmer. She spent her earlier years in Tarrytown, having been a resident for the past 35 years.
She was employed as the medical librarian for the Hospital for Special Surgery, New York City.
Surviving are her mother, two brothers, Alfrederick of Nanuet; and John of Elkhart, Indiana; two sisters, Harriet Ahlberg of New Paltz; and Edith Baker of Danbury, Conn. and several nieces and nephews.
