Alfrederick A. Kilmer entered the gates of Heaven on March 18, 2018, at the Piney Valley Nursing Home in Keyser, W.Va.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Margery F. Kilmer (Mills), and his daughter, Pamela F. Kilmer.
He was born in Tarrytown, New York, on March 19, 1923, to Walter A. Kilmer and Frances E. Kilmer (Smith).
He is survived by two daughters, Karen L. Marshall and her husband Ruben A. Marshall of Keyser and Linda G. Cadovius and her husband Paul A. Cadovius; grandchildren Pamela L. O'Dea and her husband Matthew O'Dea, Jeremy A. Cadovius and wife Sonja Cadovius, David A. Marshall and wife Jana Marshall, Adam R Cadovius and wife Debra A. Cadovius, Tiffany L. Sluder and husband Keith Sluder, James A. Marshall.
He also had 11 greatgrandchildren.
Mr. Kilmer was a salesman for most of his years, and was also a volunteer fireman for over 40 years.
He attended Mt. Zion Church in Keyser.
He was dearly loved by his family and all who knew him.
His body was cremated.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 24, at 1 p.m. at Mt. Zion Church.
