FAMILY SEARCH. When Jabez Clefton Durfee was born on 5 July 1907, in Aurora, Sevier, Utah, his father, John Duvaldi Durfee (1867-1944), was 40 and his mother, Sabrina Eliza Draper (1878-1959), was 29. He married Mabel Cluff (1908-2010) on 19 February 1926, in Aurora, Sevier, Utah. They were the parents of 4 daughters. He lived in Salt Lake, Utah in 1930. He registered for the World War II draft at age 33 in Salt Lake City, Utah in October 1940. He died on 28 October 1981, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, at the age of 74, and was buried in Provo City Cemetery, Provo, Utah, Utah.

Born July 5, 1907, Aurora, Utah, to John D. and Sabrina Eliza Draper Durfee. Married Mabel Cluff, Feb. 19, 1926, Farmington; later solemnized, Salt Lake LDS Temple. Faithful employee, P.I.E., 35 years. Member, LDS Church. High Priest in Cannon 3rd Ward.

Survivors: wife, Salt Lake City; daughters, Mrs. James (LaWana) Pierce, Kearns; Mrs. Grant (Delores)Moffat, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Richard R. (Deanna) Rawson, West Valley City; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Louise D. Rooney, West Valley City; preceded in death by a daughter, Diana Durfee

Funeral services Friday, 11 a.m., Cannon 3rd Ward, 1301 So. 12 West. Friends may call Thursday, 6-8 p.m., Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 So., and at the chapel Friday one hour prior to service.
