Married Forrest Hugh "Frank" Rooney, November 28, 1929 in San Bernadino, California; later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple.
She was a member of the LDS Church and served in many capacities including temple worker. She will long be remembered for her community service, her gift to write poetry and her love of the outdoors.
Survived by many special nieces and nephews; two grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mable Cluff Durfee.
Preceded in death by her husband and step-son, Francis E. Rooney. Funeral services will be held Wed., March 17, 1993 at 12 noon at the West Valley 3rd Ward, 2820 West 3590 So., where friends may call from 10:30-11:45 a.m. Interment, Provo City Cemetery. Funeral directors, Cottonwood Mortuary.
