Mrs. Edna Lee Beverage, 79, of Monterey died at her home Wednesday, March 13, 1985. She was born April 12, 1905, at Doe Hill, a daughter of tho late G. Lee and Naomi Blagg Botkin. She was a member of Monterey United Methodist Church. She had operated the
Monterey telephone switchboard for 34 years. Her husband, Seabrook Beverage, died Sept. 5, 1971. Surviving are two brothers Walter Botkin of Doe Hill and Marvin Botkin of McDowell, and nine nieces and nephews. A service was conducted 11 a.m. Monday in the Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev Joseph Klotz. Burial was in the Monterey Cemetery.
