PERKINS, Ga. - Mrs. Eloise Parker Alexander of Perkins, entered into rest Wednesday, December 01, 2004 in Waynesboro. Mrs. Alexander was born in Jenkins County and a member of the Green Fork Baptist Church. She was a retired teacher in the Jenkins County School System after 38 years service. She was greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Green Fork Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Alexander of Perkins; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willie Parker of Millen; her children, Wendy Powell and husband, John and Derek Alexander and his wife, Terri of Evans, and Candy A. Gresham and husband, Mark of Waynesboro; her sisters, Mildred Higginbotham and husband, Edsel of Callahan, FL and Doris Godbee and husband, Grady of Augusta. Mrs. Alexander was blessed with eight grandchildren who were the light of her life. Tyler and Kaitlin Powe ll, Hunter, Haley, and Heath Alexander of Evans, Lyndsey, Allyson, and Jones Gresham of Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
