Mr. Alexander is preceded in death by his first wife, Eloise Alexander.
Survivors include his wife Betty Alexander; daughter, Wendy Powell (John); son, Derek Alexander (Terri); daughter, Candy Gresham (Mark); brother, Peyton Alexander (Elaine); sister, Charlene Alexander; and nine grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services for Mr. Alexander will be held Friday, March 25 at 11:00 AM at Green Fork Baptist Church in Perkins, GA. The family will receive friends one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 550, Atlanta, GA, 30346.
