MILLEN, Ga. - Mrs. Lula Mae Perryman Parker, 92, entered into rest on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at Jenkins County Hospital.

Mrs. Parker was born in Screven County but had resided in Millen for sixty years. She was a former employee of Thomson Company and retired from Twin City Manufacturing Company in 1980, and was a member of the Bay Branch Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Green Fork Baptist Church with Dr. Ray Freeman officiating. Interment will follow in the Millen Cemetery.

Survivors include her two daughters and sons-in-law, Mildred (Edsel) Higginbotham of Callahan, FL and Doris Godbee of Augusta; a son-in-law, Ronald (Betty) Alexander of Perkins; a brother Ira Perryman of Millen; five grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren.

Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her husband of seventy two years, Willie L. Parker; daughter, Eloise P. Alexander, son-in-law; H. Grady Godbee; and brother Clyde Perryman.

Active Pallbearers will be immediate family members. The Family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
