Lillian Virginia Beall, 82, of Gaithersburg, died Dec. 17 at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville.

Born July 5, 1920 in Gaithersburg, she was a daughter of the late John Abram and Blanche Mills Hargett. She was the wife of Marion T. Beall, who died in 1996.

Mrs. Beall graduated from Gaithersburg High School and was a member of Washington Grove United Methodist Church.

Survivors include fours sons, Marion Beall and his wife, Emily, of Ocean City, John Beall and his wife, Linda, of Salisbury, Philip Beall and his wife, Judy, of Orlando, Fla., and Robert Beall and his wife, Trina, of Huntingtown; two brothers, John Hargett and his wife, Mary, of Monrovia and Thomas Hargett and his wife, Taiko, of Stockton, Calif.; three sisters, Martha Briggs of Gaithersburg, Esther King and her husband, Earl, of Clarksburg, and Shirley Kitzmiller and her husband, David, of Gaithersburg; and 11 grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Lucille Hargett and Mary Crown, and one brother, Charles Hargett.

Funeral services were held Dec. 23. Burial was in Forest Oak Cemetery,
Gaithersburg.
