Mrs. Carpenter
Mrs. Rebecca J. Carpenter, 73 died at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday at her home, 404 West Russell Ave. West Lafayette.
Born Feb 17, 1891, in Coshocton County, she was a daughter of Isaac and Elizabeth Sheeley Daniels, and was married April 4, 1908, to Charles C. Carpenter who died July 4, 1958.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in West Layette.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Cecil (Anna) Easter, West Lafayette, Mrs. Clifford (Pearl) Infield, Route 1 and Mrs. Charles (mary) Moyer, Route 5, seven sons Russell R Warsaw Route 1, Raymond F. Grover L and Ralph W. all of Coshocton, John L. West Lafayette and Marion V. Fresno Route 2, a brother Grover, Route 3; 25 grandchildren and 20 greatgrandchildren. A daughter is deceased.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m . Saturday at the Bonnell-O'Neill funeral home, West Lafayette, by Rev. James Robinson. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be 3 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
The family suggest that friends make contributions to the Coshocton county Cancer Society.
