TEXAS CITY - Services for J. Doyle Yancey, 73, a retired pumper and gauger for Amoco Oil, will be at 10 a.m. today at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City, the Rev. Don G. White officiating.
Burial will be at Forest Park East Cemetery in League City.
Mr. Yancey was born Dec. 3, 1910, in Franklin County and died Saturday at Danforth Memorial Hospital in Texas City.
He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Texas City.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys Yancey of Texas City; a son, Jerry Yancey of Texas City; a daughter, Brenda Watson of Texas City; two brothers, W. F. "Jack" Yancey of Paint Rock and J. B. "Jake" Yancey of Fredericksburg; two sisters, Verta Mae Thompson of Ballinger and Lucille Ohls of Kerrville; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and other relatives.
Visitors may call at the funeral home after 8 a.m. today.

He was the father of two children:
