The Oak Ridge Cemetery records say A. Jay Porter, son of Harry and Elizabeth died June 19, 1850 aged 11ys-8ms-16ds. The 1850 Mortality Schedule says Andrew J. Porter died in January, 1850 of brain fever. It says he was born in NY. I think these are the same person-Andrew Jay Porter who was born in NY in 1836. I think the cemetery records are wrong. There is no tombstone now.
