Mr. Lonnie Whitlow, son of the late Mr. Bawsley Whitlow and Mrs. Tillie Ackridge Whitlow, was born May 24, 1906, in Green County and departed this life on Monday, December 15, l997 at the Green Hill Manor Nursing Home in Greensburg. He was 91 years, six months and 21 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Holly Grove Baptist Church. He united in marriage to Miss Elsie Mae Lewis, who survives. Mr. and Mrs. Whitlow have been married for over 60 years. He is also survived by a brother-in-law and a sister-in-law: Leonard Lewis of Summersville and Beatrice Dobson of Greensburg; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and Mends. The funeral services for Mr. Lonnie Whitlow were conducted Wednesday, December 17, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Summersville Memory Gardens. Rev. Leslie Jewell and Rev. Danny Nelson officiated. Pallbearers were Arvil Stearman, Boyce Dobson, Roger Skaggs, Carlos Stearman, Morris Dobson and Ralph Stearman.
