Catharine was originally buried in the Wisner Burying Ground, also known as the Old Baptist Cemetery or Main Street Cemetery, in Elmira. That cemetery was closed in 1876 to create a park and any family members who had not removed burials, the memorials and remains were removed to a section in Woodlawn Cemetery, where seven rows of those memorials exist today.
