Juliana was the daughter of James Matthews a PVT in the Revolutionary War, his father General Vincent Matthews, his father Colonel Peter Matthews who immigrated here in 1665 from Ulster, Ireland along with his wife Bridget Coote-Mathews.
Juliana's mother was Hannah Strong a descendant of Elder John Strong. Through Elder John Strong we are related to the Rooselvelts and Princess Diana. A few more celebrities as well. We share a common grandfather. Google, "Strong family association"
** Yes the headstone says Julianer but that was not her name. We have since learned that it was in fact Juliana. Anyone who has done their due diligence at genealogy will testify that very often mistakes like this were made on headstones, documents, etc. So please don't send me a message regarding this. Thanks!
