Miss Bula Bess Bell of Dallas, who began her career with West Texas Utilities Co. in the Wellington office, died December 27, in Dallas.
Miss Bell was with WTU a few years in Abilene before going to Dallas about 1947.
The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Bell, she grew up here and graduated from Wellington High School with the Class of 1927. She attended a business college.
Her father will be remembered as a farmer and owner of the Wellington Bakery.
Miss Bell was an early member of Wellington Business and Professional Women's Club and active in First United Methodist Church.
In Dallas, she was a member of Highland Park United Methodist Church and bookkeeper for two Dallas law firms.
Services were conducted at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 30 in Westland Memorial Chapel with Dr. Floyd Patterson officiating. Interment was in Restland Memorial Park.
Survivors are three sisters, Miss May Wes Bell, Mrs. Ellen Bryan and Mrs. C.C. (Tenoka) Logan, all of Dallas; a niece, Mrs. Donna Patterson; great nephews, Joe and Bryan Siddle.
