Rev. Henry S. Sedelmaier
2326 W. Jolly Rd.
Age 82, died Friday, in Lansing. He was a resident of Lansing and Grand Ledge for most of his life. He was a member of Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church and also a minister for the Church of God. He retired from Oldsmobile in 1964 after 28 years of service. Surviving are his wife, Harriet; 4 sons, Henry, Duane, John and Donald, all of Lansing; 2 daughters, Evelyn Kempf and Nancy Bowman, both of Lansing; 1 son, Herbert A. Sedelmaier, preceded him in death. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Pearl, of Grayling. Funeral services will be held Tues. at 1 p.m. at Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church in Lansing with Rev. Richard Buher and Rev. Dan Martineau officiating. Internment will be in Deepdale Memorial Park. The family requests that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society. Pallbearers will be Al Basinger, Bill Swagler, Laverne Sedelmaier, Lavaughn Sedelmaier and David Epps.

Rev. and Mrs. Henry S. Sedelmaier, 2326 W. Jolly Road, will be honored at an open house celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at New Testament Gospel Assembly Church, 119 Astor St.
Hosting the celebration will be their sons and daughters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John Sedelmaier and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Sedelmaier; their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John Bowman; their sons, Henry, Herbert and Duane Sedelmaier; and their daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Kempf.
The Sedelmaier's were married July 2, 1922, in Grand Ledge Baptist Church and have lived at their present address 30 years.
Rev. Sedelmaier is retired after 27 years of employment with Oldsmobile. He has pastored churches in Lansing, Battle Creek, Lake Odessa, and Sebewa.
Both he and Mrs. Sedelmaier are members of Glad Tidings Church. They have 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
