Shock Of Injury To Son Kills Woman
Mrs. Julia L. Sadelmaier, Grand Ledge, Stricken At Sight Of Youth

Special to The State Journal
Grand Ledge, June 25--Shock over serious injury to her son, Pearl, 21, resulted in a stroke which was fatal to Mrs. Julia L. Sadelmaier, 58, wife of John Sadelmaier, at the residence, 419 McMullen street, late Wednesday night. The young man was taken home from the Artic Dairy company plant here in an unconscious condition and the shock was evidently too great for his mother to withstand. The son was still unconscious Thursday noon.
Mrs. Sadelmaier is survived by seven children in addition to Pearl; four other sons, Henry and Charles, of this village, John of Kalamazoo, and Otto of Mulliken; and three daughters, Mrs. Zona Kelly, Mrs. Thomas Kill, and Mrs. William Croucher; all of Grand Ledge.
The body was taken to the Smith chapel where funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon.

NOTES: Spelling mistakes: Sadelmaier should be Sedelmaier, Croucher should be Brouder, and Kelly should be Kelley. Also, 419 McMullen should be 119 McMullen instead.

Requested that the memorial for her husband, John Sedelmaier (# 113668935) be transferred to me on Aug. 30-2013.
