Funeral services for William "Bill" Goad, 83, of Warner, OK, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at Sallisaw City Cemetery with Reverend Jon Fischer officiating.

Mr. Goad was born March 6, 1924 at Park Hill, OK, the son of Isom and Elizabeth (Boswell) Goad and died Friday, August 31, 2007 at Muskogee. During World War II, he served his country in the U.S. Army He was a lifelong resident of the area.

Survivors include two sisters, Hattie Tadpole and Myrl of Porter, Edna Kendall of Broken Arrow; two brothers, J.I. Goad and Lee of Gore, Lue Ray Goad and Carol of Fort Gibson; two grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Faye Goad, son, Billy G. Goad and three brothers.

Services are under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee.
