Anna Rinehart, eldest daughter of John and
Julie Rinehart was born August 29, 1874 at
the family home near Bigelow, Kansas where
she grew to womanhood. On February 27,
1896 she was married to Fred M. Gumm.
To this union were born seven children,
Elmer Gumm, who preceded his mother in
death, June 1932; Julia Harland, Frankfort,
Kansas, Ethel Gumm, Marysville, Kansas,
Alta Harry, Winifred, Kansas, Edith Gibson,
Topeka, Kansas, William Gumm, Frankfort,
Kansas, Bob Gumm, Mankato, Kansas; 18
grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren;
four brothers Tom and Frankf Rinehart, of
Yakima, Washington, William Rinehart,
Red River, California, and one sister, Mrs.
Mayme Jones, Bigelow, Kansas and many
nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Gumm was a quiet home loving
person devoted to her family and home.
She was ill three weeks before her death
came to relieve her suffering on May 28,
1957 at the Randall Hospital.

Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery,
southwest of Frankfort, Kansas.
