Dick Zeutenhorst Died Suddenly On Sunday Afternoon

Mr. Dick Zeutenhorst, 43 year old Hospers farmer passed away very unexpectedly Sunday afternoon at the Community hospital at Sheldon.

He had been ill with the flu since Wednesday of last week and became worse on Friday. A blood vessel broke during a bad cough spell. He was taken to the hospital on Sunday morning, passing away there at 4:20 o'clock in the afternoon.

Left to mourn his early departure are his wife and three children, Marvin, Darwin and Harriet.

Also his aged parents Mr. and Mrs. H.J. Zeutenhorst, and the following brothers and sisters: Bertha (Mrs. Wm. Koops); Dena (Mrs. Teunis Jansen) all of Sioux Center; Gerrit of Maurice , Herman of Holland, Mich.; Cora (Mrs. Evert Van Binsbergen) of Dwason, Minnesota, and John of Sioux Center.

Mr. Zeutenhorst was born near Sioux Center on Dec. 2, 1904.

On the 25th of February, 1927 he was united in marriage to Miss Minnie Draayer, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Draayer of Maurice. The family made their home in the Ireton vicinity until about three years ago at which time they moved to their farm near Hospers.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon at one o'clock at the home and at one thirthy o'clock at the Reformed Church at Hospers. Rev. Doctor will officiate. Burial will take place in the Sioux Center cemetery (sic).
