FLORIDA Funeral services for Theron Brunell Leftwich, 89, of Altha, Fla., formerly of Baxter, will be held at 3 p.m. today, Sunday, June 30, at Altha Methodist Church. Burial will be in Chipola Cemetery in Altha.
Mr. Leftwich died on Friday, June 28, 2002, at his home in Altha.He was born on Jan. 23, 1913, in Putnam County to the late Joel and Alice Gentry Leftwich. He moved to Altha in 1955 and worked at Sunland Training Center for 15 years. Mr. Leftwich was an avid fox hunter. He attended Altha Methodist Church.
His family includes his wife of 60 years, Ruth Bush Leftwich of Altha; a daughter and soninlaw, Danita and Glenn McClellan of Blountstown, Fla.; and two grandsons, Kyle and Heath McClellan.
