Lillian Brownson Taken by Death
Mrs. Lillian Brownson, Denver, teacher and sister of H.G. Nowels of Longmont, died in St. Joseph's hospital in Denver Sunday following a major operation.
Mrs. Brownson, whose husband, the late Thomas Brownson, was manager of the local telephone office at one time, had moved to Denver about 25 years ago. Since that time she had taught in a grade school there. She was a member of the Christian Science church. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Carl Jenkins, of Longmont.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock from Olinger's mortuary. Cremation and interment will be at Fairmount cemetery.
[Note: Fairmount has no record of Lillian's burial. Her cremains were returned to Olinger's. She may have been buried with her second husband, Thomas, at Riverside. Trying to confirm that information.]
