Funeral held for Mrs. Julia Orr
Funeral services for Mrs. Julia Lydia Orr, late of 1309 Fairview avenue, were held from the Holt Mortuary Chapel at 10 am Friday. The Rev. Ray Kelley, Pastor of the Mount Zion Baptist Church officiating. Mrs. Jack McFadden, accompanied by Mrs. Marjorie Sammon, organist, sang "Beyond the Sunset" and "What a Friend We Have in Jesus."

A large crowd including many friends from Wet Mountain Valley attended the services. A Profusion of floral offerings surrounded the casket. Pallbearers were all members of the family. Burial was in Ula cemetery of Westcliffe beside the grave of Mrs. Orr's mother who preceded her in death in 1952.
