A native of Louisiana, he had lived in Port Arthur for one year.
Surviving are seven daughters, Mrs. N. R. Dunn, with whom Mr. Prince resided, and Mrs. O. O. Cobb, both of Port Arthur, Mrs. S. H. Manley, Mrs. V. G. Tarver, and Mrs. Myrtle Baldwin, who live in Louisiana, Mrs. E. L. Hampton of Missouri and Mrs. C. V. Scribner of Arkansas; 21 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
The body was sent overland to Columbia, La., about 8:30 o'clock this morning by J. E. Grammier, mortician. Funeral services and burial probably will be held there Friday.
