Mrs. Hampton died Tuesday morning at Sartori Memorial Hospital of a heart condition.
She was born in LaSalle Parish, LA, Sept 14, 1893, the daughter of Sebron and Wealthea Staunton [sic Taunton] Prince. She was married May 10, 1914 to E. L. Hampton.
Survivors include a son, E. L. Hampton, Jr. of Columbia, MO, a daughter Dr. Nellie Hampton of 905 W. 16th St., and five sisters.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
A memorial fund has been established at First Baptist Church. Friends may call after noon Thursday at Richardson's Funeral Home.
