My great-grandmother was born to the union of Asa Elijah "Eli" Taunton and Louisiana Wealthy Hawthorn, who married in Catahoula Parish, LA on March 25, 1857. She married Seaborn Vermillion Prince in Caldwell Parish, LA on December 10, 1874.
