Funeral services were conducted Sun. at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home for Miss Lillie Maude Hopkins, 65, who died Fri. 4 Aug [1961] at the home of her sister, Mrs. Vaughn Coffey in the Bethlehem community. Burial was in the Bethlehem Cem. She was a daughter of the late William Washington and Louise Hudson Hopkins, and a member of the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church. Other survivors include a brother, John Hopkins, Greensburg. Pallbearers were Cecil Paxton, Marshall Paxton, Druid Paxton, Oscar Paxton, Kenneth Coffey, and Deacon Coffey. Honorary pallbearers were Ellis Coffey, Thomas Coffey, Lewis Moore, Omer Sullivan, Boyce Hudson, James Paxton, Calvin Paxton, Guy Henderson, Averett Powell and Ray Whitlock.
