Mrs. VESSA JULIA TWIGG, 84, of 515 Welch Avenue, died yesterday at Memorial Hospital. She had been in ill health the past year.
A native of Sharpsburg, she was the daughter of the late James Franklin and Mary Katherine (Brashears) Swaine (sic).
She was a member of Southminster Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are her husband, Edward James Twigg; two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn June Johnson, city; and Mrs. Helen Fisher, Baltimore Pike; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A service was conducted at the Scarpelli Funeral Home; interment was in Mountain View Cemetery, Sharpsburg. The pallbearers were Clyde Gill, Jr., Arnold Zinck, John Close, Edward Fisher, Robert Fisher, and Richard Nierman.
