ROBERT CLINTON SWAIN, a lifelong resident of Sharpsburg, died at his home at 11 p.m. Tuesday, of complications, after an illness of two years, age 76. He was a son of the late James Franklin and Mary (Brashears) Swain, and was a member of the Lutheran church.
He is survived by his wife, Daisy (Bender) Swain; granddaughters, Mrs. Gene LeGrange, Lynchburg, Va.; Mrs. Dorothy Fitzel, Tx.; brother, Thomas R., Sharpsburg, and sister, Mrs. Edward Twigg, Cumberland.
Funeral services Friday at 3 p.m. at the home. Interment in Mt. View cemetery.
