MRS. ARTHUR PARRETTE
Mrs. Laura C. Parrette, aged 77, of Cooperstown, died Saturday, March 6, in the Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, following a long period of declining health.
She was born August 29, 1887, in the Town of Middlefield, the daughter of Willard and Margaret (Miller) Chase. She was married to Arthur Parrette on March 11,1905, in Cooperstown. She was a lifelong resident of Cooperstown. ....
Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Gordon M. Curran of Cherry Hill, N. J. and Mrs. Dorman H. Hanor of Cooperstown, two grandchildren, Gordon M. Curran, Jr. of Cinnaminson, N. J. and Mrs. Merrill W. Nelson of Lincoln, Neb. eight great-grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Carlton Murdock of Cooperstown, RD, Mrs. Pierce Adams of Pomona, Calif., and Mrs. S. N. Harper of Bath, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. on Tuesday, March 9,.... Burial will be later in Fly Creek Cemetery.
