"Mrs. Katherine C. Davidson, aged 80, of Oneonta, died Saturday in Fox Memorial Hospital in Oneonta, after a short illness. She was born June 28, 1879, at Middlefield, the daughter of Willard and Margaret (Miller) Chase. She was married to Lewis Davidson in 1894. He died in 1938. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cooperstown. Surviving are two sons, Harold L. of Cooperstown and Alton C. of Middlesex, N. J.; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Arthur Parrette of Cooperstown, Mrs. Carlton Murdock of Cooperstown, RD, Mrs. Pierce Adams of Pomona, Calif., and Mrs. S. N. Harper of Bath; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday from the Ingalls Funeral Home in Cooperstown. Burial was in Hartwick Seminary Cemetery."
