Mr. Eckard, a retired electrician, died
June 11, 2003, at Licking Memorial Hospital.
He was born Jan. 21, 1936, in Chester Hill,
Ohio, to Charles and Zola (Triplet) Eckard.
Mr. Eckard served in the U.S. Air Force
during the Korean Conflict, was a former
commercial airplane pilot, a member of the
Heath Masonic Lodge and an avid camper,
fisher and builder of antique radios.
He is survived by his mother, Zola (Triplet)
Eckard, of Heath; four sons, Gary Eckard Jr.,
and Dee Getter, of Heath, Larry Eckard, of
Key Largo, Fla., Jim and Debbie Eckard, of
Heath, and Mark and Cheryl Eckard, of Heath;
