She was united in marriage to Spurgeon Burch November 10, 1928, and to this union six children were born. Two infant sons preceded her in death, along with her parents and two sisters.
Mrs. Burch and her husband reared their family on their farm in the Solo community, having lived there since 1935.
She had a special talent for growing flowers and quilting.
Survivors include her husband, Spurgeon, of the home; her four children, Donald of Concord, Calif.; Jerald of West Plains; Franklin of Solo and Marjorie Jackson of Eureka, Ill.; 12 grandchildren; four sisters, Ada Dixon and Ina West of Houston, Ida West of Pendleton, Ore. and Nellie Brick of Rocky Ford, Colo. and one brother, Bill Crowley of Houston.
She united with the Ozark Baptist Church, later moving her membership to the New Hope Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Friday, October 23, at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kendall Ford, the Rev. Maurice Allen and the Rev. Don Young officiating. Burial was in the Ozark Cemetery.
