Laura, 91, of Alma, passed away on October 11, 2012. She was born to Ralph and Mary (Shaver) Lett.
She attended Potterville schools before moving and graduating from high school in Washington D.C. Laura worked as an executive secretary for the State of Michigan health department and retired after working for the State for 15 years. She was very proud of her career.
Laura was a member of the Potterville United Methodist Church. She loved ballroom dancing and was an avid reader.
Laura is survived by her loving children, Linda (Bill) Becker of Texas and Joyce (John) Peters of Virginia.
She was predeceased by her parents Ralph and Mary Lett, sisters Ruth Royston, Betty Clark and Norma Martinez; and brothers Allen Lett and Ralph Lett Jr.
Graveside services were held on Monday, October 15, 2012, with Rev. Rich Mitterling officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan Masonic Home of Alma.
