Ruth M. Royston, 77, of Vermontville, died Friday, May 4, 2001. Mrs. Royston was born March 7, 1924 in Potterville, the daughter of Ralph and Mary (Shaver) Lett. She was a farmwife and had been married to her husband Rex for 57 years.
She is survived by her husband; son, Rex. Jr. (Kay) of Vermontville and Gary (Kieran) of Lansing; daughters, Nancy (Dennis) Carpenter of Vermontville and Sue (Mark) Fawley of Nashville; brother Allen (Lois) Lett of Lansing; sister, Laura Herde of Florida; sister-in-law, Joan Lett of Potterville; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held May 7 at Pray Funeral Home, with Reverend Randy Royston officiating. Mrs. Royston was interred in Kalamo-Hillside Cemetery of Charlotte, Michigan.
